6:30 A.M. REGISTRATION BEGINS                                   The Event includes both Timed 5K & Non-Timed 5K/2K 

7:00-9:00 A.M. PINK RIBBON CAFE                                 Race begins at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds (see map)

8:00 A.M. SURVIVOR CELEBRATION BEGINS                    Participants may register online, by mail or at the Expo

8:45 A.M. AEROBIC WARM-UP                                         Participants of all ages are welcome to join the fun!

9:00 A.M. 5K BEGINS                                                     All registered participants receive a free event shirt

9:45 A.M. NON-TIMED 2K BEGINS                                   Not a morning person? Sleep in for the Cure®.

10:30 A.M. VOLUNTEER  & 5K AWARDS                     Register early to avoid the late fee!        

Awards Timed 5K
Awards will be given to male and female finishers in the following categories:
Top three overall, first wheelchair, and to the top three in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and over 70. The first place male and female runner will each received a commemorative plaque and medal. Results for this event will be announced during the awards ceremony following the 2k walk and online at 1st Place Sports. Awards must be picked up at the event or the Komen office after Race. No medals or awards will be mailed.

Safety                                                                                                                                                                                                For the safety of all participants, those with Inline skates and/or pets are asked to stay at the back of the pack during the start of the Timed 5K run. Participants with baby strollers may Join the 2K Fun Run/Walk but not the 5K event. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Komen North Florida Race for the Cure®

Packet Pickup

You may pickup your packet up diuring our Expo hours on the following dates:

Thursday, Oct. 21: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.   or         Friday, Oct. 22: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Team Packets not picked up may be picked up on race day at the Team Tent.

View our race routes, 5K or 2K. All races will start and finish at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds located near Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. The 5K course is USA Track and Field certified (pending). Parking is free.

Donations

Donate online or by check. Checks can be made out to KOMEN NORTH FLORIDA RACE FOR THE CURE® and can be mailed to the following address: 2950 halcyon Lane #501, Jacksonville, FL 32223.

This event will occur rain or shine.  We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances.  In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Komen North Florida Race for the Cure® .
