Keep Up with the Komen North Florida Blog

Through events like the Komen North Florida Race for the Cure®, the North Florida Affiliate has invested over $1.6 million in community breast health programs in five counties in North Florida. Up to 75 percent of net proceeds generated by the Affiliate stay in the North Florida area. The remaining income goes to the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure Grants Program to fund research.

 In addition to the North Florida Race for the Cure, we hold several events and activities throughout the year to raise funds and educate the community about the work we do to support local underserved women--and men--in need of screening, education and treatment.  We are also frequently approached by companies and organizations interested in holding fundraising events and activities that benefit Komen North Florida.

 That’s why we created the Komen North Florida Blog–to keep you informed about all of the things coming up that you can take advantage of.  Occasionally, we'll also include blog posts about the progress that's being made to end breast cancer forever.
